At St. Paul’s Cathedral welcomes everyone with open arms and open hearts! The Cathedral community is intentionally vibrant, active, diverse and inclusive. Our joy is in being a loving, accepting spiritual home - that serves as the face of God - to our community and to everyone who wishes to be part of our downtown parish.

Worship of God, together in community, is integral to who we are at St. Paul's.

What to Expect

In Episcopal worship, we nurture our faith by celebrating Holy Communion most Sundays. We engage our minds through reading Holy Scripture and hearing a thought-provoking sermon. We engage our senses through beautiful, reverent surroundings and often through music that touches the mind and the heart, in the rich, diverse Anglican and American musical traditions.

Each of our Sunday services have a different expression of worship, and we worship using the 1979 Book of Common Prayer with traditional language (Rite I) at 8:00am, contemporary language at 9:00am (Rite II), traditional language at 11:15am (Rite I), and a rotating schedule of special 5:00pm services. You can watch any of our services online as they are live-streamed.

Are you new...and with Kids? Don't worry - We've got you! Click HERE for more details on what to expect and how to prepare for worship as a parent with children.

First Time to Worship

Services

Directions, Maps, Parking

After you find a place to park in the North or South Cathedral Parking Lot, enter the gates closest to 7th and Robinson and be greeted by our volunteers, who can direct you to the next service where you will be guided into the sanctuary by our ushers. Be sure to take a bulletin and let the usher or attendant know you're new or visiting so they can properly welcome you. Enjoy some quiet, contemplative time to pray, meditate and listen to music before the service starts. As a liturgical church, the experience of Episcopal worship may be new to you. If so - Please, don't worry! You might observe kneeling, communion, and other liturgical practices. There are cards in the pew racks to read about these practices and what to expect during the service.

Wondering what to wear? On Sunday mornings, worshippers may dress casually in jeans, business/sharp casual', or even in their Sunday best. Dress however you feel comfortable! We promise you will be welcomed, and there is expected no dress code except to please, be dressed!

Adult Church School - “Reading Between the Lines: exploring our story through biblical stories”

Sunday, November 17, 10:10 AM - 11:10 AM

Adult Church School is Happening! Are you tired of letting the kids have all the fun? Beginning on Sep 15, you’re invited to join us for "Reading Between the Lines" Adult Church School at 10:10 in the Adult Learning Room, led by Lauren Bass.   Each week, our incredible team of teachers will invite you to use your imagination, intellect, intuition and reason to engage the Bible stories, connect them with the world around us, and explore the resonances those stories stir in our inmost depths.  We will do more than analyze and understand the text – together we will experience scripture as a reality within ourselves, connecting us to the text and the world around us.  Please feel welcome to drop in any Sunday for “Reading Between The Lines: Exploring our story through Biblical Stories."
